Belém Gardens
Street photography is all about telling stories, and also a mode of self-expression. When you look at the images of a street photographer, you are also getting a look into their soul. It fascinates me because it gives me an opportunity to develop myself artistically and personally. On top of that, photography gives me a break from the daily routine and lets me see the world in other perspectives.

Belém is a noble area of Lisbon (Portugal) giving onto the River Tagus and has the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Torre de Belém, the Belém Cultural Centre and gardens as neighbours ... a "World of Culture" surrounds you. There’s nothing more refreshing for city-dwellers than a day out in contact with nature. It feels great to leave the noise of cars behind and forget the hectic pace of daily routine. To have a picnic on the grass and hear birds chirping, to read a book in the shade of a tree or wander aimlessly – these small pleasures add to our wellness.about the photographer
My name is Ricardo Barros Figueira (nickname: rbfigueira), was born in 1973 and living in Lisbon, Portugal.
