Self Portrait
This photo was shot in a home studio using one flash placed next to me and a timer set on my camera, the 50mm lens created results that I am very proud of indeed and I believe this photo to evoke strong emotions regarding the things light can hide in a persons face.
I was born and raised in Johannesburg and was therefore never short of unique and compelling subject matter to photograph.
I pursue an active lifestyle, pursuing many adrenaline sports and have a very strong humanitarian drive with an inert desire to help those in need.
With my photography I aim to portray the human sprit and condition in a such a way that its fleeting nature may be preserved forever on film and I believe that this is a life long pursuit.
