With her abstract photographs, she brings to you the world of light in moments which are almost impossible to be seen, except in her photographs. The intoxicating landscapes of bold colors, dynamic shapes, that I have chosen to express create excitement that moves beyond the original form and gives it a new meaning. Both enchanting and haunting, they engage the viewer with the flow of mystery.
As Richmond explores, they take her to a new realm of insight of creativity. Shooting various colors and shape combinations, most of the decisions on the final out come are composed instinctively. The results of her art work is due her innate creativity and sense of exploration.
Colors that soothe our soul are inherently different from one individual to another, and when we connect with them, we are deeply moved. Richmond does not limit herself to one combination of colors over another. These photographs are captured through the lens, and minimal processing takes place afterwards. Viewers can, both consciously and subconsciously connect with the mystery of her abstract work.

The intoxicating landscape of bold colors, dynamic shapes that I have chosen to express, create excitement that moves beyond the original form and gives new meaning. Both enchanting and haunting, they engage the viewer with a flow of mystery. I choose the composition instinctively in the moment and making a diptych or triptych enhances the overall expression. Viewers can, both consciously and subconsciously connect with the mystery of my abstract work. These are captured through the lens, and minimal processing takes place afterwards on the computer.
