Copper Coast Abstract
The tide was well out so i could get 3 different colours/textures, the sand, the sea and the sky.
The Copper Coast can be vaguely seen on the left part of the horizon.
I like the minimal result and the colour of the brownish sand coming through the water.
Owen took up photography in 2007 after an Easter break to Amsterdam. While there, he and his wife Joy visited numerous art museums. He was blown away with what he saw. Dutch masters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt. Their paintings looked like photos. He knew he would never be able to paint like these, so he decided to buy a camera and try to take photographs in their style where possible.
Owen's style has changed since then and his images now are more serene, calm and minimal.
