I had to get very crafty with this serious because I knew exactly what I wanted but I didn't have access to a studio, nice lights, or backdrops. I ended up doing things like stringing up $12 Hobby Lobby party lights on my garage-door rail, gift-wrapping walls, and throwing bras over iPhone flashlights to achieve the effects I wanted. I feel like DEAD MEAT toys around with my own feelings surrounding gender, sexuality, and violence in a very meta way; though I think ultimately it is whatever the viewer thinks it is. I shot everything on a Nikon D7000 and enhanced the images using Photoshop, though I tried to keep it to a minimum (levels, curves, color balance).about the photographer
