Bridalveil Fall, Yosemite
I have studied free-ranging Stumptailed macaque monkeys in the state of Veracruz in Mexico and Rhesus macaque monkeys on Cayo Santiago Island off the East coast of Puerto Rico. I have briefly observed Olive baboons at Gilgil in Kenya, East Africa, as well. I enjoy world travel, reading scientific and historical nonfiction, and hiking in Yosemite with my wife, Kris, whom I have known since childhood. Before retiring from the faculty of Modesto High School in 2014, I taught Anthropology and Psychology in the school's advanced International Baccalaureate Program.
I have had an interest in photography since receiving my first camera in the 1950s.
