Impermanenza
Life cannot be possible without impermanence.
The creative power of life needs impermanence to be able to flow and permeate the reality.
But it is easy to suffer because of the impermanence, by mistake we believe that things last.
This suffering is the starting point of "Impermanenza".
I made flowers, leafs and branches compositions. Beacause of the daguerreotype long time exposure and the tungsten lights heat, flowers start to fade during the shooting.
In the picture, the flower life leaves its trace, the flow of time becomes visible.

"Impermanenza" is a series of 7 Becquerel Daguerreotypes, size 11cmX6x8cm.
I work in photography, as light assistant in fashion and still life photography.
My passion for the alternative photography and large format photography started in 2012 after attending a daguerreotype workshop in Rome.
Since then I work with daguerreotypes, 4X5 and 5X7 negatifs.
