My fascination with seaweed has led me to reflect on a way to showcase them so that their shape, colour and texture would be visible to anyone.Presented against a dark background, as opposed to white sand, brings them depth and mystery. Their intricate beauty is enhanced and magnified.

about the photographer
Belgian photographer currently based in Senegal, my work is eclectic, spanning portraiture, documentary photography, fine art and street photography. It has been exhibited in Australia, Myanmar, Spain, Italy, Belgium and France. I am deeply influenced by some of the places where I have lived. My master’s degrees in Germanic languages and literature as well in literary translation also shape my photography.My work is visible on www.otherpix.com
