Time
Our time here is limited and is silently running out…As much as we want to believe in an after life or in reincarnation, the truth is that we don't know that for sure. Therefore we must take advantage of the time we do have here so that we don't die with regrets. A life lived fully is better than an eternal life without knowing how to truly live.
After moving with her parents from Romania to Spain, she obtained a Fine Arts Bachelor’s Degree in Madrid, where she fell in love with photography once again, discovering a world full of possibilities. She was fascinated by the photographic process and by how photography made it possible to tell a story in a single image.
During her studies, she experimented with all sorts of photography, from product to documentary to portraits to conceptual photography. She loved photographing the human body the most, but it wasn’t always easy to find models. That’s how she started putting herself in front of the lens, thus beginning her interest in self-portraiture.
Following graduation, she moved from Spain to Germany and took up working as a newborn photographer, then shortly after, as a portrait photographer at a portrait studio. After practicing photography professionally for a while, Emanuela realized that the part where photography was telling a more complex story was missing. This is when she decided to change something: get back to her origins and build a work environment that would allow her to combine fine art, photography and storytelling.
Currently Emanuela is working as a fine art photographer and visual artist. Her style is characterized by a conceptual and surreal art, inviting the viewer into otherworldly scenarios. Her intention is to educate and inspire people to take action, while also seeking to connect with her audience on a deeper level.
