Told by the eye: A tale may be told by the mouth, or by the hand, or by the eye. In Bolivia a man went about silently with his eyes on his hands, wishing to make walking stories stand still. When he had done so he collected them together so that, one by one, they all started talking, and told a tale to be heard by the eye.about the photographer
