entry description
My main purpose in these series is to highlight the interplay between photography, time and human. For that reason despite the fact the exposures are long I preferred a single one in order to emphasize the move and blurriness of the silhouettes. Otherwise, and this is why I gave to the series that title, a long exposure photograph is by itself some lost time (un temps perdu) in a manner of a few minutes trapped in a medium (the photograph) which seems static. The photos were taken at places near Athens, Greece during 2018 in the composition of which usually participates my mother and sometimes me.about the photographer
I am a non-professional fine art photographer based in Piraeus, Greece. I began to deal with the photography subject almost before 10 years when I started shooting and post-processing pictures with my smartphone and more seriously from 2015 when I bought my first DSLR camera. I prefer minimal black and white photography and long exposure is my favorite technique. During the last two years some of my pictures have been presented in the greek "Photographer" Magazine as well as the Fine EYE Magazine. Beside photography I have a master degree in History.back to gallery
