entry description
During our trip in Iceland we were not so lucky with the light due to heavy rain during two days. Well, what should I say … one of this days were exactly here at the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, which is full of icebergs flowing to the sea from the Vatnajökull, the biggest glacier of Europe. How challenging experience it was with that bad light. But, it is as it is … at home in Switzerland I can always get back to the spots as much as I want to capture the spots with wonderful light because it is near for me, but on such a trip I have not this chance. It’s more „Take it or leave it“ he he he. So I made a lot of shots because I have no idea when it will be the next time when I have the chance to visit this area again. In my imagination I had a certain idea of the images I wanted to capture … as I saw a lot of them in the web, but here … with this light? Well, it doesn’t matter. The light was given and for nothing in the world I would miss the opportunity to make shots here at this incredible and so beautiful place no matter how the weather is. I hope you like my vision of this iconic place.about the photographer
I’m a passionate landscape photographer based in Switzerland. I startet with photography in 2012 but it was only in 2015 when my interest became a passion or should I say an obsession. Taking images in nature is a great pleasure for me. That means to hike, to explore and to feel a sort of freedom … and to experience nature sometimes at hours and conditions that are not the very best. Exactly the oposite to my life in the office. My goal is to show how I see the world through the lenses as we are only during a limited time here on earth.back to gallery
