On a beautiful Hawaiian morning, I came upon this noble tree, full of character and poise, with its jagged, strong, angular frame complemented perfectly by its soft, gentle, wispy tips. At first, I couldn't help but be the slightest bit envious of its perfect perch and its timeless view out into the endless sea. However, envy quickly gave way to admiration, as well as the opportunity to record a fleeting image of this beautiful tree.The jagged, angular trunk is juxtaposed against a backdrop of streaming clouds, softened by a three minute exposure.
