The Macau (Yat Yuen) Canidrome Club is the only legal greyhound racing stadium in Asia launched in the 1930s. Due to the declining interest in greyhound racing and the arrival of luxury casinos, the current owner of the Canidrome, Angela Leong On Kei, confirmed the lease will not be renewed and will be permanently closed.
