Golden Eyes / Ojos Áureos
19th september 2017 earthquake in Mexico was an event without precedents, it haven´t been an sism with an epicenter in that area. Many catholic churches from 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries collapsed.
Their fallen domes, viewed from above, shows a sort of fractals, golden eyes referring to the color and to aesthetics proportions; they reflect a natural catasthrophe as well as a chaotic perfection.
This photos illustrates exceptional beauty and an important historical moment.
Photography and cinematographic studies in México City, noting 2 years of cinematographer career in CUEC UNAM (1998). Worked as camera assistant, as well as still photographer in movies.
In 2001 co-founds photographic agency Lente 30-30.

During the Americas colonization, the architecture was a powerful instrument for the convincing and religious belonging of the catholic devotees.
