entry description
Using an intentional camera motion (ICM) technique and graded layering of multiple exposures, this series of images was created in an attempt to use the camera to create a "painted" landscape image in the Impressionism style.about the photographer
In my real-world life, I am Physician Anesthesiologist who cares for some of the most critically ill trauma patients. However, as a visually oriented and highly technical person, I gravitated to photography as a hobby, and am a self-taught landscape, nature, abstract, and fine art hobbyist photographer. My knowledge and skills as a photographer have grown organically, allowing me to pick up different skills and incorporate them into my photographs as I learn about them. In so doing, I have been able to keep a broad view of photography and learn to capture various other areas of photographic interest. The caliber of my current work is an evolution of this growth as a photographer, reflects who I am as a person and how I view the world around me. By finding the beauty of details in scenes that many others may not see, allows me to compose images which highlight some aspect in detail. I glean my inspiration from the simple beauty that surrounds all of us in this world and enjoy sharing life’s beauty with others through my photographs!back to gallery
