Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay brims with muted colors, rich textures and Old World flare. On every street the walls, windows and doors are begging to be framed. I particularly liked this home with its vines overtaking the window.about the photographer
My grandmother spent her entire life on a dairy farm. She never traveled more than a hundred miles from her home. When I would show her one of my pictures of the Tetons or Alaska, she'd say, "David, I'll never get to see those places in my lifetime, but I get to see them through you." Just as with my grandmother, I hope my photography transports people to the far corners of the earth, as well as the local "Hole in the Wall.I love to write. I love to take pictures. I love to travel. This is my Holy Trinity.
