Continuum
I took this photo in Iceland during the blue hour. I was along the ocean shore, the wind was blowing hard and the clouds were running fast. I was alone, no photographer or tourist was in the bay at that time, and the Vestrahorn mountains hid shyly behind the clouds. the white foam left by the waves broke the black color of the ground, and seemed to invite my gaze to the rocky peaks, in a continuum of emotions.
a little later it was dark, the clouds were beginning to disappear, and I was hoping to be able to see the green queen of the night again dancing over my head, making me cry like a baby, just like the night before.
Born in Pietrasanta, in Tuscany, in 1991. Since I was a child I have a great attraction towards nature, which represents for me an immense source of inspiration. Over the years, thanks to the many experiences spent on the mountains and the ocean, I felt the need to share the emotions I experienced, and this is how my passion for landscape photography was born. The first reflex was a gift to me at the age of 22, and since then I have always tried to improve myself and deepen my knowledge, both in the field and in post production. I love being immersed in the wildest and most unspoiled places, walking in the woods off the beaten trails, on the mountains or on rocky beaches. In my shots I am committed to portraying not only what my eyes see, but also the connection that I can establish with the nature that surrounds me. I consider photography a powerful mean of expression, as well as a real cure for all evil. In the future I will continue my journey to discover the territory, looking for new ideas, new scenarios, and new emotions to tell.
