entry description
I would usually walk past the flamingos at the zoo or take a few shots and keep on moving. The last time I was there I stayed for a while and it was only after really looking at them did I see just how interesting they are. Their color and feathers are remarkably beautiful and they make such weird and wonderful shapes with their necks. This is what I wanted to capture in this series of photographs.about the photographer
I'm an art director/graphic designer from Los Angeles, a graduate of Art Center College of Design. My interest in photography began when, like many commercial designers that need to reign in the urge to push boundaries and instead are required to stay within certain styles and parameters to please the client, I found myself in need of a more creative outlet, one in which I no longer had to limit myself. Through photography, I am my own client and there are no boundaries, I basically can do what I want. My current photographic interests lie in the world of abstract photography, unveiling hidden images and textures not normally seen by the unaided eye.back to gallery
