The photographs in this series contrast with the world we live in, filled with images which are saturated with information and colors. They seek out visual refuges in urban landscapes, also polluted by excesses. Architect and photographer, Jose Roberto Bassul was born in Rio de Janeiro and lives in Brasilia. His works turns to architecture, urban landscape, and social aspects of contemporary life. His photographs were exhibited at art galleries and cultural spaces in Brasilia, Rio, São Paulo, Tiradentes, Paraty, London, Havana, Miami, Siena, Paris, Tokio and Moscow and published in specialized magazines such as B&W Magazine (USA), Minimalissimo (England), BEX Magazine (Argentina) Luz del Norte (Mexico) and Photo (France).
