Sacred or Secret
I was wandering around one day with my camera, trying to capture as many neon signs as I could. However, there's this sign that drew my attention the most. A bright neon sign that had Chinese characters of the meaning - "Sacred Place"; it is actually a sign belonging to a karaoke night club. There was a stark contrast between the sign and the old buildings behind it, and make the sign really stood out.
After capturing this sign, I continued wandering around that area, and saw this other dark alley that had a bright pink light pipe, so I decided to capture that with my camera, too.
I started editing these two pictures, and was thinking that behind these secretive looking dark areas / night clubs, there might be a lot of untold stories. So I have decided to composite these two together, along with my aesthetics of editorials. With these, I want to question viewers whether it is a place considered to be sacred or a place that is full of hidden secrets.
Love blurring the line between painting and photography.
Wanting to sprinkle a little creativity the world, sharing my imagination / dreams with others, along with my photography & drawing skills.
