Senegal, is a country where the basic human tenets are often underserved. The material struggle is palpable but what I found was spirit strength and an extraordinary dignity.
In a few words, this project is the consequence of the search for self-knowledge and the reencounter with the essential of a life without noise.

These photographs presented here, are the result of an encounter with life itself. It is an exercise of honesty and estrangement without an intent to judge or value, just paying attention to what it was (at that time) an unknown environment to me and rescuing the element of dignity and portraying hope (in its widest meaning).Senegal, is a country where the basic human tenets are often underserved.
