Guna Woman
Raising water levels are threatening the Guna way of life and in the near future, the islands may be under water making the Guna people the first refugees due to climate change in Latin America. The project looks to help address the problem with plastic, create awareness about climate change and if necessary move the Guna people to the mainland while maintaining their culture.
The photo features an older Guna Woman in her house holding a pipe. It's a glimpse into what life is like in Guna Yala.
