This series is inspired by details in and on trees and in the forest - I decided to do in-camera multiple exposures of 8 shots, for each exposure turning the camera a fraction. I chose a cool and a natural white balance alternatively, as well as a variation of apertures. Ingrid Vekemans has always been fascinated by Africa, first going there in 1994. Although this continent and its wildlife remain her main focus, she has also become involved in nature photography in other regions of the world. Wildlife, forest and macro photography are her favourite subjects, but landscape photography also takes her interest.She organises a variety of photographic workshops and writes articles for photography magazines.
