(Burmese: သျှောင်ပေစူး). This ancient hairstyle is known as Yaung Pay Suu and is believed to
have been developed during the Bagan dynasty around 1752. Before colonial rule, all of
the country’s boys and girls wore their hair in this manner.
They still keep this hairstyle willingly although it is very rare these days. Because
they keep the hairstyle to show the children today what is Myanmar tradition hair style.
