čekati
What is life like in the decentralized periphery, in the surroundings of urban reality? Life in the sound of motorized individual traffic, in the middle of the silent, nostalgic bus stops?
The photo documentation čekati – twentysix bus stops – captures moments in the periphery. Recorded in spring 2019, the photographic cartography approaches the different perceptions of the place in a documentary and conceptual way. With an iterative photo concept, the observations are presented analytically and poetically at the same time. The order of the 26 bus stops corresponds to the order of discovery. The location chosen arbitrarily. The fascination of the simple construction, the locations, the aesthetics of decay, the silent surrounding and the necessary use.
Photographic documentary of the periphery in Istria in collaboration with Falk Lennart Kremzow.
Conceptual, documentary photography, graphic design and art determine her pluridisciplinary, urban work. She wants to transfer photography through graphics and graphics through photography.
She is purely involved in conceptual photography. Her photographic work reflects her fascination for personal stories and the presentation of conceptual approaches. What fascinates her about photography as well is the versatility and the freedom of interpretation. In her own projects, she tries to keep it as open as possible.

entry description
The periphery. The surrounding area. The outskirts of the city. Perceptions that evoke associations of life in rural regions. A picture of the periphery. Sun-drenched areas in endless green spaces? Isolated from an increasingly urbanized world? Noticeable in the visibly destroyed connections to local centers. What is life like in the decentralized periphery, in the surroundings of urban reality? Life in the sound of motorized individual traffic, in the middle of the silent, nostalgic bus stops?
