Pyrenees Nightscapes
The photos are an assembly of 2 or 3 photos :
- one taken at the blue hour with an exposure for the foreground
- one taken during the night with an equatorial travel mount (star adventurer mini) with a duration 1min exposure at F / 2.8 (closing 1 stop to avoid faults optics in the corners)
for the sky and the Milky Way: 5 shots of 1min stacked under
sequator to reduce noise.
- one taken during night at shorter speed to catch the reflection if needed
has been working in the space industry (airbus defense & space) since 1997.
Passionate about mountains, I started digital photography 10 years ago
by orienting myself especially towards landscape photography. I have progressed
through books, travel and also by participating in activities with
Airbus and my village photo clubs.
In recent years, I have turned to astrophotography of landscape which requires a little specific material and the mastery of certain post-processing tools. Landscape photography suits me because it allows me a creative approach in an environment where I like to recharge my batteries !

Containment in spring 2020 gave me time to be more interested in detail to landscape astro-photography and start a project of photographic serie: the initial idea was to take photos of the Milky Way with astro-photography shooting techniques and equipment, by trying to highlight mountain landscapes and in particular major sites of the Pyrenees.
