entry description
The Rock I Live On; This is the fictional story of a man living alone on a rock, distant from civilization. What keeps him alive is hope, what keeps him busy, is the duty to keep ships from the outside world, crashing on this rock. Alone on the rock for years, he is guided by the belief that his purpose on this earth is to protect the outsiders from this rock in the middle of no where. The colours you see, are that of hope. The Brightness and colour contrasts, are made to convey that feeling of happiness, in such a world that is so despairing, so negative. With the imagination of the lighthouse keeper, you can see that there is hope all around, there is distant civilization. Even though distant, there's a feeling in the waves, that someone will befriend him one of these years. He will continue, he will win.about the photographer
