I just love the simplicity of a wooden runabout and a wooden pinhole camera.

entry description
I own a small mahogany runabout from 1960. It has an old two stroke outboard engine with a rope start, a simple cable steering, and the boat overall is very simple with no electricity or modern equipment. Just like the camera I used to take these pictures. It is a wooden Lerouge 45 pinhole camera that takes 4x5" sheet film. The exposure time in these pictures is between 30 sec and 2 minutes. I used Fomapan 400 film and developed the film at home. So the process, too, is very analog, slow and simple. Like all good things in life!I just love the simplicity of a wooden runabout and a wooden pinhole camera.
