entry description
In my home city - Wroclaw, Poland, you can make a very artistic trip through backyards that wouldn't be normally rated as a touristic attracion. But thanks to some idea those courtyards got the new face. The originator is the painter Mariusz Mikołajek and his artistic team who involved almost all residents of nineteenth-century tenement houses to change their ugly yard into an amazing place. They called them "non-mural" because it is a combination of painting, sculpture and ceramics. All residents were involved in its creation - from the youngest, through the youth, the Roma minority, football fans of Silesia, to seniors. You can see it on a walls. Some people painted his puppies. Some love for nature. It all started in 2013 and is grows. This place was visited as well by Wim Wenders, german director. It is an off-beaten-roads attraction. That's why still spared from masses. But it has been gaining in its popularity.about the photographer
