The Suri is one of many tribes living in the Omo Valley, near the Omo River on the western south of Ethiopia. Cattle are enormously important to the Suri. Cows are a store of wealth to be traded, and a source of milk and blood. Suri Tribe members, especially children will have their face and body painted with elaborate white designs and flowers and fruits covering their heads.about the photographer
