Portraits du Maroc
All photos haven made with natural light and out in the open. I used shaded porches to eliminate the harsh sunlight.
I hope to create moments of quiet and wonder with my photography in a very busy and hectic world. Characteristic for my work is the tranquility of it. By searching for this tranquil composition I try to find my own peace of mind.

entry description
These photos have been made in 2019 when I traveled in Morocco. I wanted to portray the people of this beautiful country. Most of the people I asked to have their photo taken were happy to do so. I had been warned that photographing the people of Morocco would we difficult, but I found this was definitely not the case. All photos haven made with natural light and out in the open. I used shaded porches to eliminate the harsh sunlight.
about the photographer
I am a photographer based in the Netherlands. My interest is in fine art photography with a focus on landscape photography, although I love to experiment with other forms as well, i.e still life and architecture. The photographs I make are minimalistic in form and are either made with soft pastel tones or in black and white.I hope to create moments of quiet and wonder with my photography in a very busy and hectic world. Characteristic for my work is the tranquility of it. By searching for this tranquil composition I try to find my own peace of mind.
