He also has directed music videos for downtown superstar Bridget Everett and created original video content for Macy's, Paper Magazine, Samuelsohn, and 10TV.
Gregory got started in the industry as studio manager for renowned photographer and filmmaker Douglas Keeve. He served as first assistant director on Unzipped, Keeve’s celebrated documentary about Isaac Mizrahi.

DOWNTOWN is a photo series documenting New York City's downtown scene shot by photographer Gregory Kramer. Presented in the style of classic portraiture, the collection features burlesque performers, comedians, drag queens, cabaret singers, performance artists, writers, activists, costume designers, and artists in glamorous black and white studio portraits.Each photo captures the spirit of the performer through subtle pose, gesture and facial expression. He recently published DOWNTOWN, a tabloid newspaper documenting New York City’s downtown scene. It is a follow up to his acclaimed 2017 book DRAGS.His fresh, expressive style has made him a highly sought-after photographer by clients such as Bloomingdale's, Club Monaco, Macy’s, Saks and Target.
