entry description
La vie de Charlotte is a photographic, alternative response to the painting of La Mort de Marat by French painter Jacques-Louis David from 1793. In the painting of the master, there is Jean-Paul Marat, one of the leaders of the French Revolution, which Charlotte Corday stabbed in his own bathtub, and during the trial she did not defend herself and did not regret the act - she would say "she would gladly do it again". Paulina in the role of Charlotte was photographed in Michalowice at the Cinema Theater, whose foundations date back to the XVIII century (when the original painting was created).about the photographer
