Tea in Soho
This image was captured in Soho, London on a warm autumn day. This is a sophisticated area of the City as the viewer can see by the ornate design of the teapot, the cup and saucer, the sticky buns and the look of "How dare you" on the lady's face!
Over the last two decades Soho has changed beyond recognition. The streets used to be filled with record shops, market stalls, brothels, pubs and music venues. It had so much character to offer everyone and anyone. Now, sadly the streets are full of chain coffee shops, high start brands and very pretentious tea shops. This image I have submitted represents everything that Soho has disregarded and forgotten!

I always love to take photos through windows taking a glimpse at somebody else's life; the window always provides a nice frame for the story that lies within. This image was captured in Soho, London on a warm autumn day. about the photographer
After traveling to Asia in 2002 for a six month trip, Dan discovered a love for candid photography. Arriving back in London he pursued what was now his passion and became a professional commercial photographer specialising in architecture. Dan’s Street photography is a culmination of people, architecture and how they work together. When Dan is not walking the streets trying to find the next photo he can be found in the dusty record shops throughout the city to add to his ever expanding record collection.back to gallery
