entry description
Salmon are born in freshwater, migrate to sea, and return to their natal stream where they spawn and die. This enduring gift from the sea each summer is the pulse that drives life in and around Kodiak Island, Alaska. These “Tidal Traditions” connect the land, people, and wildlife.Through my photography, I work to capture stories that inspire humans to appreciate their relationships with the natural world.
