entry description
The coal mining industry near Cologne / Germany is one of the largest industrial locations with power plants and machines of superlatives. There, for example, you can find several of the largest moving machines in the world, a bucket wheel excavator weighing 13,500 tons. The coal that they extracts every day fills 2400 coal wagons. One excavator is up to 220 m (721 ft) long and approximately 96 m (315 ft) high.about the photographer
I’am a travel and landscape photographer. I’am based in Cologne / Germany and my journey into photography actually started way before I ever picked up a camera. I was actually always into art and drawing and that’s pretty much what I was focused on throughout school. As a photographer I love the challenge of trying to include just enough subjects into the frame to plant a seed of a story and then make the viewer to imagine the rest. I want my viewers to feel like they are right in the middle of the scene.back to gallery
