Neptun Abandoned
This image was taken on a very cold April morning. I had to get quite far into the water to get the right composition. Unfortunately, my wellies were too short, so I had to strip down and wade out with my tripod… a two minute exposure feels like a long time without trousers.

entry description
The owner’s nightmare but the photographer’s dream. The fishing vessel “Neptun” ran into engine trouble as the new owner was taking it home. The electric system and the generator failed, so the captain had no choice but to sail into shallow water and leave the ship. This image was taken on a very cold April morning. about the photographer
I previously worked in Computer Science and have founded a couple of IT companies. Now I spend most of my time on photography. Initially I was drawn to classical landscape photography, but since we don’t have a lot of epic vistas in Denmark, I mostly make minimalistic seascapes these days.back to gallery
