Slime molds are organisms that have lived on earth for millions of years. They have hardly changed at all since the beginning of the uprising. They are not plants, animals or fungi. They combine the features of all these three kingdoms. They have many forms, and I am introducing you to one of them - mature individuals. Only in this growth phase is it possible to identify their species. They are amazing creatures that grow wherever there is dead plant matter. They grow on dead trees, trunks, branches or leaves. The slime molds in the photos are no larger than 3 millimeters. I took photos using the focusstacking method from hundreds of individual photos.about the photographer
