Magic In The Moonlight
Camera: Canon 90D
Lens: Tokina 11-20mm f2.8 AT-X 1DX Pro
Exposure: 58sec
Focal Length: 11mm
Aperture: f2.8
ISO: 100
Orb: LifeGear flashlight and a rope
My friends and I have named this location "Two Rock" on account of these two incredible megalithic boulders found right off of Highway 1. This was only my second attempt at the orb long exposure technique, but after a couple tries and almost falling off the ledge more times than I would like to admit, I finally got the shot I was waiting for. The perfectly imperfect orb nestled in between the two "megaliths", the streaking clouds of the night sky, and magnificence of the full moon bringing it all together translates the true magic I felt that night. This was an adventure I will never forget and moment to live forever.

entry description
Capturing light at night is one of the most enriching experiences I've ever had. Just you, your camera, the night, and endless creative possibilities. The light is yours to create, control, and manipulate, limited only by your imagination. The dark canvas can be challenging, intimidating, and a bit rough around the edges, but with some extra work and a little bit of luck on your side, you might just be able to capture the Magic In The Moonlight.Camera: Canon 90D
