entry description
All photos were taken in cape Opuk and Koyashskoye salt lake, located on the Black Sea coast of the Kerch Peninsula in Crimea. It separated from the Black Sea by a thin strip of land. The uniqueness of the lake is that it always looks different. The beautiful water in the lake has the particularity to change color, depending on the light, time of day, season, due to the presence of microscopic pink-colored algae living in the water. In this place, you can feel like on another planet. When you are in this place, you want to absorb all the impossible beauty of this unusual place and it seems that time has stopped and nothing is important in this world except this unity with Nature.about the photographer
I’m 35 years old photographer from Kerch, Crimea, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. I received my BSc. in Finance and MSc. in Jurisprudence. But I take a great interest in photography. I have been serious about photography for about 3 years, and I studied it at the Kyiv School of Photography. I constantly study new shooting and editing techniques. I am particularly interested in landscape photography. As a landscape photographer, I'm looking for stillness, vastness, the sublime, and sometimes also a touch of surrealism. I have my own vision in producing photos which is: “I’m looking for the beauty and translate it to in image”.back to gallery
