Taken on 24 July 2021 due to the lack of visibility from the Tamarack Fire that started on 4 July 2021. On a clear day you can see the casinos on Stateline in South Lake Tahoe. On a day that should be clear blue skies was more of an uncomfortable silence of an eerie smoky morning.about the photographer
Daryl Nicole Scott is a photographer, designer and marketer based in Northern California. She studied Communication Design with an emphasis in Media Arts at California State University, Chico. Post-graduation, Daryl has worked in construction, interior design and currently works for a theatre design and architectural lighting firm. Due to COVID, she gave up her apartment in the Bay Area and moved back in with her parents to save up money to one day buy a home.Over the last few years, she has been published in The New York Times, CA Home + Design and Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine.
