From an early age, my daughter Jocelyn was growing a passion for photography. She took great photos and after a 2018 family vacation to the Lofoton Islands, she decided she wanted to be a professional photographer. She was inspired by a terrific young Norwegian photographer named Kasper Beddari. To honor her memory and fulfill a passion of mine, I decided I would dedicate my professional life to fulfilling her dream. These images are some of the first I’ve taken in my new journey. If I reach the point of selling my photos, I plan to dedicate the proceeds to a foundation in her name.

entry description
Would you believe there was a party going on right behind me when I took the serene photo of a cypress tree in South Carolina? Yes, it’s true, in fact, there were two parties with BBQ, Beer, Music, and kids swimming in the water. I think it’s such a compelling example of how a photograph can capture such a quite, minimal, and beautiful scene when facing one direction and party time facing another.about the photographer
Until December 2019, I was a marketing executive at a Fortune 500 company. Then, on December 26 my life was turned upside down. My wife and daughter were killed in a helicopter crash touring the Island of Kauai in Hawaii. While grieving the loss of half of my family and feeling the tremendous guilt of how much my job took me away from my family, I decided to leave the corporate world. Photography has always been an interest of mine, but I’ve never had the time to truly pursue the hobby. From an early age, my daughter Jocelyn was growing a passion for photography.
