entry description
Redrock Triptych. Redrock on the Howth Peninsula arcs out into the Irish sea on guard from the north side of Dublin bay. Howth or Hoved as named by the Danish vikings was the stepping on and off point for many invaders and pirates from Celtic times through to more recent history. A natural fortress giving commanding views of potential threats this triptych of timed exposures watch and gaze out first to the north and the Baily Lighthouse, directly east towards Wales and finally to the south across Dublin Bay capturing Dun Laoghaire, Wicklow and beyond.about the photographer
