Ewe Child (Togo)
Perception like a state of mind, a piece of poetry disengaged from reality: my visual expression is a return to self, to feelings, and intuition.
My gaze is my imagination, my images are a journey, bearing the imprint of a world that moves me.

entry description
This photography was taken in a small Ewe village on the shore of Lake Togo. This child had been following me for a while, playing hide and seek in the adobe streets. Like Eshu, the voodoo messenger god who appears to travellers in the form of a child, he seemed to accompany me, reappearing at every crossroad, to soon after disappear through the maze of the streets.about the photographer
Seeking the spirit in every place, the essence behind words, presence in every encounter...Perception like a state of mind, a piece of poetry disengaged from reality: my visual expression is a return to self, to feelings, and intuition.
My gaze is my imagination, my images are a journey, bearing the imprint of a world that moves me.
