Playfull brothers
As a child watching "Avventura" (a scientific popularization program, and not only) I dreamed of being an explorer; unfortunately my destiny was different and I ended up doing an office job. But the passion has remained intact, I love to travel, I love to photograph, I love nature and I love to immerse myself in it, portraying it is almost "natural" to me even if I do not disdain occasionally trying to do other photographic genres. For many years I pursued the dream of being able to photograph free bears in the wild, I succeeded.
Since I have been in Yellowstone, I have been fascinated by the great outdoors and in this last period I am dedicating myself to them trying to portray them in all their majesty. Projects for the future? Traveling and photographing: Antarctica, Greenland, perhaps Mongolia, because "The only real journey, the only bath of youth, would not be to go to new landscapes, but to have different eyes..." entry description
I have been walking for a week in the forests of Katmai National Park, especially in the Naknek River area. I have spotted them several times. They are probably two brothers / sisters and they spend their days playing around. I usually met them in the late morning or early afternoon. This time, as soon as I left the tented camp, in a cold dawn but warmed by the warm light of the rising sun, I find them in the water. For a few moments it seems that they are holding hands and whispering to each other. It is not the first time I have seen free bears in the wild, but the behavior of these brothers / sisters thrilled me.about the photographer
From an early age I played with my father's camera and by dint of fiddling with it I destroyed it. Between ups and downs, the true photographic passion came with the advent of digital. As a child watching "Avventura" (a scientific popularization program, and not only) I dreamed of being an explorer; unfortunately my destiny was different and I ended up doing an office job.
