title
CAOTICOS
And in this work I thought of materializing my vision, creating photographic images, in a set that had the famous shower curtains as a background, where the performers become fictional characters, using disguises and costumes without a code, without a definition, without a sense, but at the same time still creating a character, perhaps to be defined, to be named, but still a character, where it will be enough later to give him a story, perhaps a definition and even a name.
Meanwhile, photography, which is representation par excellence, ensures its own existence.
For this work I decided to coin a new term, Caoti-cos, putting together two words, “chaotic” and “custom”, to tell something invented with an equally invented term.

entry description
A vision has haunted me in my imagination for some time, in which I see a woman coming out of the shower curtain, those horrible curtains with non-existent flower motifs, the girl is disguised as chaos, does not respect any order, does not look like remotely to no cospleyer, he wears a jumble of clothes, which have no relation to each other, neither combination nor precise function, but my impression is that he has the traits and definition of a real character. This bizarre and indefinite figure, she is a character for me, she has her appearance even if she is not inspired by recognizable characters, she embodies a sort of transgression against matched combinations, subverts the codes of being coherent and meaning.
