Long Exposure taken out of the Water from a Tripod!
«What you read should what you get»
I belong to the privileged people in this world, who spend a great part of their working time travelling and meeting interesting people. My world are the pictures! The search for the perfect image is my daily bread. In doing so, I try to create images that remain in memory of the viewer and stick out of the crowd or in other words:
«The aim is for each shot to be unique»
I have been pursuing this goal since the beginning of my job as a freelancer in 2003. My job has been leading me around half the world, from Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand to the Maldives or Indonesia to name just a few examples. I love the adventure, the contact with people and foreign cultures not to mention the variety of motifs that are offered in such places.
My colleagues and customers say of me:
Marc is almost obsessed with the searching extraordinary perspectives and subjects. For special viewing angles he avoids neither effort nor risk. His many years of experience, the exploitation of various photographic techniques, as well as his trained and creative eye, enable him recognizing situations very quickly and put them into the scene. His work shows an image of his person: transparent, open, honest but extremely creative, professional and dynamic.
Or in my words, finally expressed:
«I just love what I do!»

entry description
Special Project: Long Exposures of the City of Rapperswil-Jona/Switzerland taken out of the water (!) from a tripod! Moving myself on a SUP (Stand up Paddle Board) to certain spots in the lake where I'm able to stand in the water. While paddling my Camera, ND-Filters and a Tripod are attached on the board. On location I have to mount everything (tripod, camera, ND-filters) standing in the water (up tho shoulder high) very carfully because the camera is not protected in a water house or anything similar. One mistake and the Camera goes swimming...And these images have been taken the whole year around - even in wintertimes when it's freezing & cold. And it shows the wooden Bridge and the Town of Rapperswil-Jona from a whole new perspective and angle that has never seen before!about the photographer
