It's sometimes easy to forget the impact we can have on the environment and the creatures we share it with. I’d been free diving at night for sometime, searching for those moments of natural interactions. Using the alluring light of a dive torch, it’s always surprising what comes out of the darkness. This was a moment of curiosity when southern bottletailed squid ventured into the light and sat in the palm of my hand. Photographed in Phillip Island, Australia.about the photographer
I’m looking for the perfect balance of light and composition. Those small moments in life where we feel perfectly connected to nature. In a single breath dive or the light bouncing on the ocean surface, there is so much beauty its hard to look past. I’m endlessly searching for those moments of natural interactions.
