Jökultar_icelandic glacial tears
I was visiting Diamond Beach several times, the last visit was last spring 2022, every day looks different, sometimes more, sometimes less icecubes were swimming into the atlantic ocean, to brought back on the black sand beach by the tide waves..
I tried to capture a little bit of time, by taking long exposre pictures, freezing up the water in time, which are our nude eyes unable to see_and whatch the ice cubes meelting into the ocean in a very quick period of time.....
in the morning had some hundreds of kg, at midday the were nearly gone....
She has been traveling the world with her Nikon many years, in search for beautiful and remote places, always looking for adventure and wildlife in order to highlight the beauty and fragility of nature through her images.
In her photography she aims to show the uniquness of nature and every single living individual, be it human or animal, to point out how beautiful, valuable and unique our living space is,
and to create awarness that we should definitely treat it with more respect and kindness_to preserve and protect it for future generations.
Her passion for african wildlife startet while joining a photography project in Zimbabwe, where she learned about human wildlife conflicts and discorved how endagered so many species are and how critical their situation is.
Sabine sees the animals, as they truly are, deep emotional, thinking and conscious beeings with so many different personalities_ that´s why she loves to portray their animal personalities.
